A new report suggests that Corporate Alliance has been steadily gaining influence in the Carosi-Dar IV government, and is now considered the ruling power – rather than simply the most powerful lobby group.
Located in the Koornacht Cluster of the Farlaxai sector, Carosi-Dar IV is a small moon orbiting the planet of Carosi-Dar. The Moon, which was original settle by the mining faction Onyx Evacuations a few years back,had fallen on hard economic times. The leader of Onyx, Stephen Garrett, looked to sell the building rights, as Onyx plans on focusing its future building projects in its home system of Widek.
Mr. Garrett contacted Mr. Kutol about the moon. Mr. Garrett and Mr. Kutol are longtime friends, with Mr. Garrett leading the charge in the last was for Kirogost and helping the Nautolan Society reclaim the Dolomar System. Mr. Kutol, who was looking to expand the Alliance Property Portfolio, agreed to the deal in principle and informed Mr. Garrett that the Alliance would purchase the Property. Mr. Kutol then Contacted Ex-Chief Magistrate Krayt Fel, who was looking on getting into the investment market and the two worked out a plan to build on Carosi-Dar IV. Together they purchased the property from Mr. Garrett and the Corporate Alliance became the major shareholder of the building rights on Carosi-Dar IV.
Upon hearing of the change in local government, Residence of Carosi-Dar IV were pleased with the change. One resident was quoted in saying (roughly translated)”We glad that Trade faction now oversees our growth. Miners are dirty and only care of dirt. They don’t care about some of the things we find important to us.” The Alliance has already started with efforts to please the residence of the moon base, reducing taxes and starting constructing the Chief Magistrate`s Residence, a large Palace in the Downtown district.
