Admiral Sol Accepts Leadership Position in HKD

With the Corporate Alliances help, Hoersch-Kessel Drive has escaped bankruptcy and collapse, so it was just natural for when the Faction needed a new leader, it looks to the Alliance. Marid Sol, leader of the Alliances Security forces, was asked by Siejo Kutol to lead the reborn HKD. After discussion with Alliance Chief Magistrate Saul Cohmre, Mr. Sol Accepted. Admiral Sol also looks to expand the production capabilities of the Alliance, creating a new Production Department. Security forces have been deployed around the Dolomar System and other known hangouts of Mr. Ackmin, in an attempt to curb his path of destruction.
Shortly after the Alliance became the major stockholder of Hoersch-Kessel Drive, most of the faction’s security division moved over to HKD to help secure the faction and ensure the safety of employees in this trying time. It was the effort of the security team that uncovered the evidence of Seijin Ackmin’s involvement in the Raiding Scandal. After things began to settle down, Mr. Cohmre, Mr. Sol and Mr. Kutol had a lon
g meeting to discuss the factions future. The meeting lasted many galactic hours and upon exiting the meeting, a press release was sent out to the media outlining the new faction goals. Also on this press release, Mr. Sol was announced as leader of the faction. The Alliances Security Department would stay under the HKD name, working on both securing Alliance space and starting up ship production. Mr. Sol had the following to say.
“I understand this is a trying time for Hoersh-Kessel Drive, but from this moment on, HKD will not be an Ackmin Faction. To many times in the past, this faction has made the wrong decisions based on failed rationale. We aim to correct those mistakes. While the faction is not very strong right now, it will grow to become just that in the months to come.”
In a Separate interview, Mr. Sol also commented how the faction looks to try to help some of the clients that were cheated by Mr. Dementos and Mr. Ackmin. He admitted that the faction did not have much to give, but would do its best, as it is the honorable thing to do.
