Today a surprise announcement came from the Alliance Directorate. Effective immediately, Adoy Baba was removed from his Directors position. Serving as the Director of Commerce, Baba was to be apprehended on sight. Initial reports and leaks from inside the Faction headquarters discuss treason against the Alliance. Chief Magistrate Cohmre promises more details will be released shortly.
Confirmation later that evening came from a faction announcement from Owner Siejo Kutol. Kutol informed the members of the faction that Mr. Baba, with the help of Tony Barzini, who was once a member of Hoersch-Kessell Drive, Inc., Attempted to loot the Alliance. After starting a small riot on Dolomar, Mr. Baba accepted Mr. Barzini into the Corporate Alliance. Together, they convinced the Representatives of the Alliance Workers Union to join their cause, leading to a mass of Alliance workers and builders leaving to join Barzini. Mr. Baba then preceded to steal everything he and access too, starting with the deeds to the Alliance ships, access codes to client facilities, all of the Alliances Raw Material stockpiles, and a large amount of credits. Mr. Baba, pretending to represent the Alliance in the open market holorooms, also stole large amounts of credits from Alliance clientele throughout the galaxy. With that complete, the conspirators descended on Dolomar, to try to use the rioting to take control of the planet. Lucky for the Alliance, Magistrate Cohmre discovered the plot and removed both pirates from the faction and initiating negotiations with the Alliance Workers Union.
When Kutol was informed of the night’s events, he was extremely upset. Baba had been a good friend for many years, helping Kutol out of a few tight spots. Kutol first contacted Tony Barzini. With Joni Yuma’s help, Kutol convinced Barzini to release the workers and the access codes to the Facilities he had gained access to in the loot. Barzini, swearing he did not know it was HKD he was stealing from, apologized and promised to help track down Baba. Kutol contacted Baba later that night on his private Comm. Nothing is being released from the conversation, but confirmation has been received that Adoy Baba returned everything he stole from the Alliance, including the Credits he took from clients right before he left. The credits were returned to the clients, and a crisis seems to be averted. Even with the sudden change of heart, Adoy Baba is to be detained on site and Alliance Members should avoid doing business with this traitor.
