Glom Tho System In Transition – A Press Release from the CNN

After the initial loss of Elm Aran at the hands of the Matukai Dragons, the Glom Tho System fell into chaos. The Confederacy quickly directed many of its larger war vessels to the system and were able to reestablish a temporary control of the system. Lead by Siejo Kutol at the helm of the Lucrehulk Cyclopsis, Confederate forces landed on all 4 planets in system and started the process of trying to restore peace after the sudden collapse of the Corporate Alliance.
While this was occurring, friendly forces from the Krath Empire helped negotiations between the CIS and the Matukai Dragons, leading to control being temporarily returned to the CIS. Members in the Matukai Dragons claimed that they had been hired by Shall Ti in the months previous and they had looked into relations between the CIS, CA and Krath and had not seen anything documented. Krath and the Alliance had been in the Rift Alliance, but Krath had recently released notification of them leaving the alliance. While the CIS was extremely appreciate of Krath’s help, unfortunately the Matukai only held ownership on the Flats of the planet, the remaining cities, mining interest, and power conglomerates who operate in the system were still owned by another unnamed party and were unable to be returned to the CIS.
Xanxus Drol, representative of the Zann Consortium offered assistance in reestablishing control. The power conglomerates started threatening the population of the system with threats to depower all the flats system wide. This would of been a disaster, leading to riots and open war between the Confederacy and any party looking to get a stronghold in the system. Using some channels not available to the public, Zann was able to obtain influence on these power groups and came to the bargain table. While the specifics of any agreement remains a mystery, what is known is that the Confederate forces lead by Florain Laiden and Odac Drol turned their focus on Glom III and Glom IV, leaving the war fronts on the other two worlds to the forces of the Zann Consortium. The Confederate News Network plans to make a formal report once more details have been released and reviewed.
In other news, the remains of Elm Aran have been returned to the Tal’Shenaran by the leader of the Matukai Dragons Raiden Spike. After appropriate preparations are made, a small ceremony will take place as he is laid to rest in Tal’Shenaran Cathedral in the city of Quae’Familia on Glom Tho IV. This is the traditional resting place of the fallen members of the family. He will be enshrined there forever in honor.
