Famous Arichtect Erects Monument

Phallus Shaped Monuments Popular in CIS Space

As predicted by a local politician, the forces of the Confederacy have set their sights on erecting the Bomis system to new heights.  After running from the system with their tails between their legs over 30 years ago, the CIS and Corporate Alliance seem eager to turn the settlement into a prime stop on the Corellian Trade Spine.

After exchanging pleasantries with the locals and assuring them things would not change overnight, a massive spurt from CIS seemed to suggest quite the opposite.  Initial reports identified forces of the Matukai Dragons ganging up on the third planet in the system; clearing the planet of bandits and beasts alike.  Local scouts then reported that Odac Drol, Falleen and master erector, was one of the first on the former site where Confederate General Oro Dassyne had his final hard stand against the Republic.

Buildings rose quickly to the occasion in standard Confederation fashion, focusing on a remodeled version of the city with special attention on a new central spire.  Originally designed over 150 years ago, the enormous building with a bulbous tip represented a Koorivarian god and meant quite a bit to the locals before it was destroyed.  With a modern flare, Mr. Drol was able to reproduce a modern symbol while keeping close to the original design elements of the monument.

The real genius of the monumental design, according to a local archaeological expert, is that it leaves the observer to make their own interpretation of its meaning.   Others do not see it the same way.  While there has been an influx of Koorivar into the region since the political shift, most sentients on Bomis Koori IV are not followers of the old religion and are unhappy that an unexpected spire was slipped into the design.  Others just see a crude representation of reproductive organs, calling the new monument “Exciting, but creating unrealistic standards for our homes.”
