Not one word was spoken, absolute shock, you could hear a pin drop. These were some of the sentiments expressed by patrons to the Corporate Alliance Casino last night when in a shocking turn of events, Taldar Logas lost the game of his life.
What started as a friendly game of Sabacc, between Taldar and Truse’vala’ilone turned into a political nightmare.
“Just when we thought things couldn’t get more intense, Taldar went and did this?!” Said one Twi’lek patron. In the final hour of the Sabacc game, Taldar placed his seat on the Triumvirate, possibly hoping to get Sevala to concede his hand. Instead, it seems, Taldar couldn’t read the Chiss’ face and played into Sevala’s winning hand.
“Listen, we know that the Chiss are strategic and hard to understand, but this was on a whole other level. To see Sevala not even flinch when the Triumvirate seat was gambled, that is a whole other side of Sevala that I won’t soon forget”
Looking on at his defeat, Taldar gave away no emotion to his defeat, he reportedly smiled, nodded his head and lit up a cigar.
Was this Taldar’s plan all along? Was this a public signal of his retirement from the Triumvirate? What would Dex and Siejo think? Did they even know?
What we do know is that this story from the Alliance Casino directly contradicts the recent news release from the CIS News Network. The Former-Regent Logas had been out of the political limelight for some time, and most of his colleagues, from unconfirmed sources, had considered him semi-retired.
Reports from last have left us all lots of questions, but not many answers.
