Confederacy Restores Iconic Flagship and Subjugator-Class Heavy Cruisers
Year 24, Day 200, Tar Morden
In a momentous breakthrough hailed as a triumph of perseverance and dedication, the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) has announced the successful restoration of the Malevolence, the famous flagship of the legendary droid general that led the CIS war effort during the Clone Wars. After several very successful military campaigns against the corrupt Republic, the Malevolence was compromised during an engagement in the Abregado System. After defeating almost an entire Republic fleet, the ship was damaged internally and the heavy cruiser crashing into a moon and feared lost.
After years upon years of tireless searching and meticulous restoration efforts, the Malevolence, along with several other Subjugator-class Heavy Cruisers, has returned to active service within the Confederate Navy.
During a grand gathering on the bustling world of Tar Morden in celebration of Succession Day, Magistrate of the South, Siejo Kutol, addressed the Confederacy, delivering a resounding speech that reverberated throughout the halls of power and resonated with the hearts of every loyal Confederate citizen. “Today marks a historic milestone in our relentless pursuit of progress and strength. The Malevolence, once a symbol of our might, rises again from the depths of history to soar amidst the stars. Its restoration stands as a testament to our unwavering determination and the indomitable spirit of the Confederacy!”
As news of the Malevolence’s resurrection spread, Navy personnel and government officials eagerly shared their thoughts and emotions regarding this monumental achievement. Admiral Gree Vus, a decorated veteran and esteemed commander within the Confederate Navy, expressed his profound excitement, stating, “Restoring the Malevolence is a triumph of engineering and ingenuity. This legendary vessel embodies the power and resilience of our Confederacy. Witnessing its return to the forefront of our fleet fills me with immense pride.”
Furthermore, Magistrate of the North Truse’vala’ilone, a respected voice within the Confederate Triumvirate, praised the efforts of the dedicated individuals behind the restoration project. “This achievement represents the unwavering commitment of our engineers, technicians, and naval personnel. Their unwavering dedication and expertise have brought the Malevolence back to life, ensuring that its legacy endures in the annals of Confederate history.”
In a surprising twist, we managed to acquire a firsthand account from a Battle Droid designated as BX-763, who claims to have played a pivotal role in recovering the wreckage of the Malevolence. In its peculiar metallic voice, the droid recounted the epic adventure with vivid detail. “We ventured into the depths of space, where we encountered a seriously overgrown space slug! With relentless determination, we bravely fought our way through its menacing clutches, ultimately securing the remnants of the Malevolence. It was a mission filled with danger, but the glory of restoring our beloved vessel made it all worthwhile!”
The restoration efforts extended beyond the Malevolence, as other Subjugator-class Heavy Cruisers found their salvation from the clutches of oblivion in a similar fashion. One such example was the mission led by the Serennian Rannah Lecyllath and her valiant band of Mirialan warriors called the Nal’torai Sisterhood. Guided by Miss Lecyllath’s intel and remote guidance, this group of dedicated mercenaries liberated a derelict Subjugator heavy cruiser from the grips of nefarious space pirates. Lecyllath stated, “It was an honour to spearhead this operation alongside my courageous sisters. We fought against the odds, dismantling the pirates’ grip on this magnificent warship and reclaiming it for the Confederacy. Today, this Subjugator-class heavy cruiser, stationed in the Thesme System and christened the Dalliance, serves as a testament to the strength and unity of our cause.”
The restoration of the Malevolence and the recovery of the other Subjugator-class Heavy Cruisers mark a pivotal moment in the history of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. These iconic vessels stand ready to once again defend the ideals and values cherished by the citizens of the Confederacy. The resurgence of these mighty warships instils hope and fortifies the determination of every Confederate citizen, reminding us that even the most renowned relics of the past can rise again to shape the destiny of the future.
