Tar Morden, Vensensor Sector — Year 26 Day 190
This month the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) announced a significant change to its leadership. After more than a decade at the helm of the Confederacy, Siejo Kutol notified the Head of State his intention to officially step down.
Kutol’s Legacy and Departure

Citing a desire to pursue personal ventures and some well-deserved time with his family, Siejo’s departure comes at the end of a period of time that has seen the Confederacy expand and be revitalized. Under his tenure, he oversaw major territorial expansions, economic growth, and the successful entry of the Confederacy into the Endor Pact alliance. Whilst speculation surrounded his departure,Siejo assured citizens his decision was made for the Confederacy’s benefit, ensuring a seamless transition.

His contributions will be honored in an official farewell ceremony on Tar Morden III, attended by officials from the Confederacy. Veterans from the Clone Wars, mainly made up of Super Battle Droids will also witness this ceremony.
Head of State Dex Sehrin praised Kutol’s leadership, stating, “Siejo Kutol has been the backbone of Confederate governance for years. His vision and dedication ensured the Confederacy’s stability and growth, and his role in securing our place in the Endor Pact cannot be overstated. His departure marks the end of an era, but his legacy will continue to shape our future.”
Sehrin also expressed confidence in the new leadership, saying, “Tycho Celchu and Thresh Elykson have long been trusted allies of the Confederacy. Their experience and commitment to our cause make them the ideal successors to guide us forward. I have no doubt they will uphold the principles of Confederate sovereignty and ensure our continued prosperity.”
The New Triumvirate
To fill the leadership gap, Confederate authorities have reorganized governance roles:
- Tycho Celchu has been appointed Magistrate of the Core, overseeing Alderaan sector, Morobe, Inner Cluster, and other Core-bordering territories.
- Truse’vala’ilone, formerly Magistrate of the North, now presides over the Southern sectors, succeeding Kutol.
- Thresh Elykson, an established leader within the Starborne Group, now commands the Northern territories, including Ciutric, Sprizen, Nijune, and Thesme sectors. Elykson previously served as Truse’vala’ilone’s chosen deputy in the North, overseeing operations in Thesme sector before his elevation.
- Head of State Dex Sehrin continues to lead the Confederacy as its highest authority, overseeing strategic governance and policy direction for the entire Separatist government.
Speculation Over Renaming the Triumvirate
With three magistrates and a Head of State now overseeing Confederate governance, political commentators speculate a potential name change for the Triumvirate. Some officials proposed “The Quadrumvirate” as a fitting successor, though unnamed government sources have dismissed the idea outright.
One official reportedly scoffed, “Quadrumvirate? What’s next, the Pentumvirate? The Hexumvirate? We’re not renaming the government every time we adjust leadership roles.” Another source remarked, “The Triumvirate has always referred to the magistrates. The Head of State serves as the link between all regions, ensuring unified policy direction. That structure remains unchanged.”
Confederate Leadership’s Vision for the Future
Head of State Dex Sehrin reaffirmed his support for the new leadership, stating, “Tycho and Thresh have proven themselves time and again. Their elevation is not just a political decision—it’s a recognition of their dedication to the Confederacy. I trust them to uphold our values and lead us into a stronger future.”
Celchu reaffirmed CIS neutrality and diplomatic balance, promising fair trade agreements and regional cooperation. Elykson pledged to bolster Northern influence, promising not to spend all of the credits on bacta production, but to invest the public funds into strengthening the northern territories.
