Nikto accountant incorrectly tallies losses

Year 26 Day 242

As skirmishes continue within the Serocco system, reports of losses being published by the Shadow Dominion have shown huge errors in the numbers of losses being incurred by the Dominion against the superior Separatist force.

Today, unreported by the Dominion, their patrol was destroyed by the efficiency of Separatist forces resulting in another Raider containing 19 ships, presumed to be fighters, resulting in 20 new losses for the Dominion, whilst only a single Toscan was lost in the conflict.

Meanwhile, the propaganda machine of the Son-Tuul Pride continues to exaggerate their victories giving their own forces a false sense of superiority. This has resulted in many further losses incurred by the Dominion as their pirates have become emboldened to fight without the support or oversight of Bork.

“We’ve seen when Bork isn’t in the battle, Dominion forces are disorganized, even with ‘Second Fiddle’ Ximaro and other so-called leaders in the field supporting them, they are quickly dispatched or they flee the conflict altogether.”  noted one military observer.

Truse’vala’ilone was available for a brief interview, having been in the conflict with the Separatist forces since the first incursion into Serocco by the CIS began. He was asked about the win/loss numbers being published and he responded “What numbers? The enemy lost a Rihk squad being led by a Pelagius gunship and neither of those losses were accounted for. Bork needs to go back to school and learn how to count, I half expect he doesn’t know any number higher than his fingers and toes.” When asked about the emboldened attacks he said “The Dominion exaggerate their wins and don’t account for their losses. We observed through the reports that Rebel forces lost a squad of A-Wings but somehow that became sixteen A-Wings? I don’t know how you get from twelve to sixteen without accounting for ships destroyed that the Shadow Dominion themselves were attempting to hack, which they themselves had on their own ships. So were those additional four fighters really in combat? I think we all know the answer to that. Regardless, it gives their side a sense of superiority and then they are quickly dispatched because they realize just how inept they are.”

As the Shadow Dominion are being shown for the joke they actually are, the Confederacy remains committed to fight against criminals and piracy that affects everyone in the galaxy. The CIS continues to remind all to be vigilant when travelling through Serocco.
