Dozens of companies make up the backbone of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. There are two primary type of companies operating within CIS territory.
The first are Nationalized Companies that are either directly or indirectly owned by the Confederacy or a member of the Confederacy Triumvirate.
The second classification of company within the Confederacy are Affiliated Factions. These companies are privately owned but are fully committed to supporting the Confederacy and abide by it’s laws and statutes. Combined these companies provide a wide assortment of goods and services and in return are given protection and support by the Confederate Government.
