Year 11 Day 356
After two elections and multiple concerns of voter fraud, the Head of State Election was completed, with Horly Cyan beating Sybok Taldin by a 1 vote margin, making Mr. Cyan the first elected Head of State of the Confederacy, and the first new leader of the CIS since Jacob Jansen was appointed over 3 years ago. Mr. Cyan was humbled by the election and promised to do his best to lead the Confederacy in the right direction for the duration of his term. Sybok could not be reached for comment, but some strategists are saying he may have a batter shot if he should run again in eight months. Multiple complaints were made about the election process, as the Constitution of the Confederacy has yet to be ratified, but the newly elected Supreme Commander, Siejo Kutol, assured all parties involved were informed of rules and regulations ahead of time, so there should be no issues with rules. There were also claims of unauthorized voting, but upon review all votes were accounted for.
