The protest erupted after the CIS announced a surge in spaceship production, favoring meleenium over the sturdy, yet underappreciated, duracrete. “Why build with meleenium when you can have the unbreakable bond of duracrete?” asked one protester, who claimed to have successfully built a starship out of the concrete-like material. “It’s time our work was valued!”
